Job Description
The Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC Health) is seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join the Non-Invasive Cardiology program at MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Downtown. This role focuses on providing comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care with an emphasis on the evaluation, diagnosis, and medical management of cardiovascular conditions through non-invasive cardiac testing and clinical assessment.
The APP will work within a multidisciplinary heart and vascular team to evaluate and manage patients across the continuum of care, including both inpatient and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, ordering and interpreting non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, and developing evidence-based treatment plans. The provider will collaborate closely with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care for patients with conditions such as coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, valvular disease, hypertension, and other cardiovascular disorders.
This position offers the opportunity to practice within a nationally recognized cardiovascular program known for advanced cardiac imaging, innovative diagnostic capabilities, and a strong commitment to multidisciplinary care and clinical excellence in the Midlands region of South Carolina.

MUSC Health Columbia Medical Center Northeast is a 75-bed community hospital in Northeast Columbia, South Carolina, serving Richland County and surrounding Midlands communities. The facility is part of the larger MUSC Health Midlands Division and provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services coordinated with the broader MUSC academic health system.
MUSC Health Kershaw Medical Center is a 119-bed community-based acute care hospital located in Camden, South Carolina, serving residents of Kershaw County and surrounding Midlands communities. The hospital is part of the MUSC Health system and provides a wide range of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services close to home for the region.
