The Stress Lab Nurse provides care for patients undergoing multiple types of stress testing and monitoring. The RN ensures the safety and wellbeing of the patient through a supportive clinical environment with trained healthcare providers and appropriate equipment and monitoring capabilities. The Stress Lab Nurse will triage patients into the appropriate testing category based upon the physician’s orders and patient’s clinical history. The service will initially focus on Cardiology inpatients, with an anticipated expansion to Hospital Medicine, other inpatient populations, and, ultimately, into ambulatory settings.
