UOVUNIUSR0078846EXTERNALENUS The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will provide comprehensive clinical care for the General Cardiology population from the UVA Augusta office. This location is current served by 2 Cardiologists, and 3 APPs, all with high volume clinics. They provide general cardiology services such as HTN, HLD, CAD and refer patients to other cardiology sub-specialties as needed. The clinic has stress testing, and echocardiogram on site as well as a medical lab. The APP will deliver evidence-based cardiovascular care tailored to the patient’s needs, serve as a patient advocate, and function as a key member of a multidisciplinary team committed to excellence in patient outcomes, education, and compassionate care. Evaluation and treatment of common EP conditions such as Afib, Aflutter, VT, bradycardia, and patients needing ablations or pacemaker/ ICD placements are core to the practice.
