POSITION SUMMARY Works in collaboration with patients, physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team. Organizes, provides evaluations and documents cardiac rehabilitation. This is an outpatient program providing Level 2, 3/4 phases of rehabilitation. III. QUALIFICATIONS A. Education: Graduate of an accredited Associate or Bachelor degree program in nursing. B. Experience: 3-5 years experience in nursing, including 2 years in a cardiac specialty service. C. Other Experience: 1. Advanced knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, electrocardiagraphy and group exercise leadership. 2. Evidence of leadership skills. 3. Ability to establish effective relationships with physicians, fellow workers and patients. 4. Knowledge of the principles and techniques of adult education. 5.
