JOB SUMMARY
The Clinical Informatics RN serves as the clinical and technical subject-matter expert responsible for the design, build, implementation, optimization, maintenance, and support of the organization's electronic health record (EHR) and associated clinical technologies. This position collaborates closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, ancillary departments, operational leaders, and Information Systems staff to translate clinical workflows into effective technology solutions that improve patient care, safety, quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
The Clinical Informatics RN is responsible for the configuration and ongoing support of the organization's Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium platform and related clinical applications. This role provides leadership in workflow analysis, solution design, system optimization, end-user training, upgrade support, go-live activities, and clinical transformation initiatives. The position serves as a liaison between clinical operations and Information Systems, ensuring that EHR solutions align with organizational goals, evidence-based practice, and Oracle Health model system recommendations.
