Job Description
UCLA Health is seeking an experienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our Pediatric DOU/PICU team. This is a rotating position supporting pediatric patients who require care in the PICU and step‑down unit .The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate closely with attending physicians, fellows, residents, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality, family‑centered care.
Will consider new graduate Acute Care Pediatric NPs with relevant nursing experience.
Salary range:
NP1 (less than 6 months NP experience) : $84.62/hourly
NP2: $93.81-$133.97/hourly

- Successful completion of a MSN or DNP with a specialty as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program - Required
- National Board Certification as an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Required
- State of California RN, NP, NPF licenses - Required
- DEA with schedule II License - Required
- BLS and PALS - Required
- Experienced Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in a acute care setting (such as PICU, PCTICU, ED) - Strongly Preferred
- A minimum of 3 years acute care pediatric and/or PICU exp as RN -required
- New Grad NPs will be considered with recent PICU nursing experience
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and collaborative working relationships with administrative ,clinical and academic personnel.
- Skill in working independently and following through with minimum directions.
- Ability to utilize excel, word and other software programs,
- NPI: less than 6 months exp
NPII: 6 months or greater NP experience
