JOB SUMMARY
The Registered Nurse provides safe, effective, patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation across inpatient and outpatient settings. The RN prioritizes care based on patient needs, responds appropriately to changes in condition, and communicates effectively with providers and the care team. This role practices within the scope of licensure, education, and competency, and participates in quality and performance improvement activities. In the behavioral health setting, it emphasizes maintaining a therapeutic environment promoting stabilization, recovery and safe transitions of care based on an individualized care plan.
