Job Summary RWJUH is seeking a part time APP for the MICU. This position will work collaboratively with the Rutgers faculty to provide acute critical care. Essential Functions APP will be responsible for rounding on and managing critical care patients in collaboration with the faculty and resident team, The APP should be experienced with POCUS, central line and arterial line placements, temporary HD catheter placement, ventilation management and have a full grasp of most critical care concepts like treatment of sepsis, treatment of DKA, acute management of pressors and inotropes, The APP works to the FULL EXTENT of licensure and will be expected to teach and mentor, Education Graduate of Acute Care NP program Graduate of Accredited Physician Assistant program Experience Prefer APP with 2-5 years of critical care experience or 1 year completion of an APP critical care fellowship or residency, Licenses and certifications Current NJ APN/PA license required NCCPA certification required CDS required DEA required BLS required ACLS required RN required RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer
