The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN)  prepares patients and assists the physician during cardiac stress testing and cardiac CTA and recovers patients after testing. Candidates need to be able to read a cardiac monitor and be proficient in IV insertion. Previous telemetry or critical care experience is required, as well as BLS and ACLS certifications. Organizes and administers individualized age-specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports the philosophy, objectives and the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning.
