Job Overview: RWJBarnabas Health is looking to add a qualified Registered Nurse in Eatontown, NJ. The Registered Nurse provides direct, non-emergency care to patients in clinics, urgent cares, or surgical centers.  Qualifications: Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NJ. Proficiency in patient assessment, wound care, and IV line management. Strong time management and clear communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred: Pulmonary experience preferred. Experience in outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, or physician offices. Certifications and Licenses Required: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of NJ. Scheduling Requirements: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Daytime hours with minimal, if any, weekend requirements. Essential Functions: Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, and monitor blood pressure. Assist with minor surgeries, diagnostic tests, or wound care; ensure safe delivery of treatments. Administer medications, including vaccinations and specialized treatments. Educate patients and families on disease prevention, self-care, and medication, particularly regarding pre- and post-operative instructions. Update patient files, document clinical observations, and retrieve/input data into electronic health records. Collaborate with healthcare teams, handle phone triage, and manage follow-up care. Oversee Medical Assistant clinical competency and conduct patient interviews.
