Job Overview:
Assists physicians with patient care in the outpatient Burn Center. Reinforce patient teaching initiated by the physician during the patient's visit. Uses and understanding of the principals of growth and development to assess each patient’s age-specific assistance in treatment and care
Qualifications:
Required:
High School graduate
Preferred:
Prior health care experience preferred (i.e. Nurse’s Aide, Monitor Tech, EKG Tech, Phlebotomy, EMT).
Patient care experience preferred.
Certifications and Licenses Required:
American Heart Association (AHA) designation for BLS
Scheduling Requirements:
Per diem days
Tuesdays/ Wednesdays/ Fridays
Essential Functions:
Prepare Patients to be seen by doctor by cutting down dressings and debriding when necessary.

Epic Computer Experience
Document visits in the chart.
Stocking of Supplies
Able to lift patients onto exam table from wheelchair or stretcher.
