Job Description

As the Assistant Nurse Manager in Surgical Services, you’ll play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our Operating Room. Partnering closely with the Nurse Manager and leadership team, you’ll help guide clinical excellence, support staff development, and ensure smooth, efficient surgical operations.

What You’ll Do

  • Support daily OR operations and ensure high-quality patient care
  • Supervise, mentor, and inspire nursing staff
  • Promote a collaborative, team-focused environment
  • Ensure compliance with clinical standards and best practices
  • Assist with staff education, onboarding, and professional development
  • Lead and support quality improvement initiatives
  • Help coordinate surgical services for optimal efficiency and outcomes

Additional Job Description

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or compact state (required)
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association (required)
  • CNOR certification (preferred)
