Practices in accordance with relevant Vail Health and State of Colorado Bylaws; Rules and Regulations; and Policies and Procedures. Supports the coordination of the daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety, and satisfaction. Maintains confidentiality of patient, staff, and hospital administration. Provides care within scope of practice as established by the privileges granted through the Vail Health Medical Staff Office. Exercises competency in assessment, diagnosis, treatment and education/counseling to assure high standards of patient care, patient satisfaction and patient safety. Displays and promotes professional, courteous, and collaborative interaction with patients/families, providers, staff, other Vail Helalth departments, and leadership in meeting patient care needs and promoting teamwork. Demonstrates ability to delegate care appropriately and according to Colorado statute. Ensures that patient documentation is in accordance with accreditation and regulatory compliance standards.
Two years of experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in a related area preferred License and certifications per the employee's contract, with credentialing by the Medical Staff Office
