MUSC Health - Orangeburg is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join a growing practice in Orangeburg, SC. The provider will work in collaboration with a dedicated Anesthesia Care Team comprised of experienced CRNAs, and board-certified anesthesiologists.
About our opportunity:
This role will focus on a broad mix of cases in Orangeburg, SC
Qualified candidates should have experience administering general anesthesia, neuraxial anesthesia, regional anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care to surgical candidates ranging from the pediatrics to geriatric population.
General, Robotic Assisted Surgery, Major Vascular, OB/Gynecology, Orthopedic, Urology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Endoscopy
Candidates must also be certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Candidates must be COVID-19 vaccinated
We will provide:
Competitive compensation and benefits package + additional compensation for call shifts
$50,000 commencement bonus
$15,000 site incentive
Overtime compensation after 40 hours
Paid malpractice coverage
$2500 CME Allowance
7 weeks PTO, increasing to 8 weeks in year 3

Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education:
Must be a graduate of the Council on Accreditation’s Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs’ approved programs of anesthesia, certified, or recertified by the National Board on Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists, and insurable by the medical malpractice insurer of MUSC for the required limits.
The minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019, is a master’s degree, or higher, with the concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations:
Must be recognized as an APRN or be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS course is required
Must be certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Must be certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
