Drove to Safeways pharmacies and administered current vaccines: COVID, flu, HEP, Tdap, Shingles. Job only lasted 30 days.
Home Health/School Nurse with lovely, non-verbal female. Met her daily at Rocky mountain High school. Pushed her in her wheelchair to he special needs classes and assisted her with programmed learning IPAD. Bolus fed, changed her brief. Her mother informed me that her feeding tube was leaking, causing skin breakdown, and pain. This reduced her nutritional intake. Over Christmas break, she got quite ill. Spent most of Jan/Feb in Children's hospital. Her mother informed me that her lovely daughter had a stroke mid-March. I pray for them daily.
Recruited by Garda as a travel Nurse, part of operation OAW. Welcomed, Triaged, went on rounds with MD's and documented their findings. Administered prescribed medications. HYGIENE education. Distributed sanitary products. Delivered babies (women's clinic), men's clinic, psych, pharmacy, and the morgue. With 10,000 Afghan refugees. On 12/28/2021 Garda ran out of funding and the U.S. government shut down OAW and dispersed the refugees. Reference:
