28665081 This position is responsible for the development, coordination, delivery, evaluation and monitoring of trauma education and initiatives that is designed to enhance the clinical skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals. This role involves: 1.) collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the Trauma PIPS program, ACS standards of care and evidence-based practices are integrated into patient care and professional development to provide optional care for the injured patient; 2.) expertise in adult learning theory and multi-generational learning principles to promote quality educational programs; and 3.) being an expert resource and liaison. The Trauma Program Coordinator will closely work with the Trauma Program Quality Coordinator in supporting and assisting in identifying and prioritizing performance improvement and patient safety opportunities within the trauma program.
