This location is current served by 2 Cardiologists, and 3 APPs, all with high volume clinics. They provide general cardiology services such as HTN, HLD, CAD and refer patients to other cardiology sub-specialties as needed. UOVUNIUSR0080550EXTERNALENUS The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will launch and lead a dedicated Advance Care Planning (ACP) consultation service within UVA Medical Center and affiliated with UVA School of Medicine's Division of Hospital Medicine. The service will initially focus on Cardiology inpatients, with an anticipated expansion to Hospital Medicine, other inpatient populations, and, ultimately, into ambulatory settings. The incumbent APP will work closely with the Health System's Director for Advanced Care Planning on programmatic development and growth, affiliated physician staff, and divisional APP leadership related to operational role development.
