Description The Nursing Professional Development Specialist is a registered nurse whose practice is in nursing education and whofacilitates lifelong learning for nursing staff in the UCLA Health System. The NPD Specialist for Education develops,implements, evaluates, and revises programs of orientation,in-service-training, workshops, and continuing education based on assessedneeds; provides direct services and/or consultation to the design,presentation, and evaluation of educational offerings. Within each of theserole functions, the NPDSpecialist acts as a role model, change agent, advocate for nursing practice, andexpert in use of educational methods.
Salary range: $47.27-$117.10 Hourly Qualifications MSN in Nursing Education or MSN degree with post certificate in Nursing Education or in pursuit of a degree required
3-5 years of recent acute care experience, required.
Current valid CA RN license, required
BLS from the ARC or AHA, required
