Department Patient Flow and Capacity Job Summary Responsible for hospital operational throughput within the hospital. Facilitates the movement of inpatient and outpatients to appropriate rooms when admitted and preventing flow back up in critical areas such as the ICU, OR, PACU and ECC in collaboration with Patient Placement. Responsible for building collaborative relationships between charge nurses, nurse managers and administration. Develops and implements plans to identify and mitigate impediments to efficient patient flow throughout the hospital system.
