Job Description Description 5HV – Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) The Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit is located on the 5thfloor of the Heart and Vascular Hospital. The staff in CSICU, a 10 bed unit, provides care for critically ill patients requiring postoperative recovery of cardiothoracic, vascular surgery, ECMO and/or intensive care interventions. The age of patients in the unit varies from the young adult to the geriatric population.
