Job Description Summary 7 West MedSurg & Surgical Oncology is a high acuity 24 bed adult inpatient unit specializing in gynecology oncology, head/neck oncology and head/neck benign patients. 7 West also provides care for a variety of other medical/surgical patient populations including but not limited to management of behavioral, respiratory, endocrine, GI, and trauma patients. The unit manages patients receiving inpatient chemotherapy, radiation, leech therapy, total parenteral nutrition and enteral nutrition. This unit cares for complex microvascular head and neck flap patients which includes complex wound management, tracheostomy and laryngectomy patient care. Job Description Summary The successful applicant will be an Advanced Practice Provider interested in working full -time in the care of patients requiring Palliative Care in our outpatient Adult Palliative Care clinics. The APP will join a busy a nd thriving Adult Palliative Care team that includes 7 Faculty, 2 Fellows, 4 inpatient APP’s, 3 Palliative Telehealth APP’s, and 2 Adult Palliative outpatient APP in a growing practice. Outpatient Palliative Care services include symptom management, care coordination with the patient’s other medical providers, ongoing discussions regarding treatment choices, and quality of life goals.
