Job Description Description UNC Medical Center is hiring a New Grad Nurse to join our Women's Specialty Unit team! Women's Specialty Unit (WSU) is a 14-bed unit located on the 4th floor of Basnight Cancer Hospital. The inpatient unit is designated as Gynecology Benign and Gynecology Oncology reporting in the Women's Hospital Service Line. The team: • Care for patients who have an actual and/or potential diagnosis of cancer • Specialize in care of women after fetal loss or infant complications • Provides bed availability for radiation therapy. Full time position, 36 hours per week, 12 hour rotating shifts In order to qualify for the UNC Medical Center New Graduate Residency program, candidates must be currently in their final semester of nursing school or who have recently graduated from nursing school within the past 12 months of the anticipated start date and have worked as an RN for less than 6 months.
