Job Description Summary MUSC’s Orthopedic Unit is located on 10 East in the Main Hospital in beautiful downtown Charleston. 10 East is a 20-bed acute care, post-operative unit, specializing in Orthopedic and Urology surgeries. Our patients seek us out for our expertise in adult reconstruction, total joint replacement, ortho trauma, ortho oncology, and urologic procedures. MUSC’s Joint Replacement program has received the Join Commission Advanced Certification for Total Hip and Knee Replacement and the Joint Commission Gold Seal Certification for Total Shoulder Replacement. The Orthopedic unit was awarded the NAON Nursing Excellence (ONE) Award acknowledging our commitment to professionalism in nursing practice through exemplary care for patient and achievement in quality outcomes.
