This role focuses on the evaluation and management of patients with pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, urinary retention, pelvic organ prolapse, genitourinary fistula, voiding dysfunction, urinary tract infections, neurogenic bladder, and complications related to prior pelvic or urologic surgery. The position is structured with initially supervised clinical practice and a defined progression to independent practice, based on demonstrated competency, institutional privileging, and departmental approval.
