Description Job Requirements Unit Description 4 Tower is a 28 bed Medical Surgical unit with telemetry capability and specializes in General Surgery. Some of the specialty surgeries include colon resections, whipple procedures, gallbladder removals and thyroidectomies. With a patient to nurse ratio of 4/5:1, 4 Tower also cares for trauma patients which include gunshot wounds, motor vehicle accidents and wound management. Staff on this unit are exposed to a wide variety of patient populations with tubes, drains and lines. The staffing is comprised of RNs, PCAs and Unit Ambassadors. Staff believe teamwork is essential to providing excellent patient care.
