Our group provides direct patient care services for critically ill children aged 0-21 with acute, complex, critical, and chronic illness in a 25-bed unit with dedicated medical and cardiac teams. We maintain an active congenital heart surgery, heart failure, and transplant program including extracorporeal support. The APP team manages patients collaboratively with all members of the critical care team. Ample opportunities exist for research, quality improvement, and programmatic development.
