Job Description Summary The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Emergency Medicine and After Hours Care, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) to join its team and provide high-quality care to acutely ill pediatric patients. The APP will work across the Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital Emergency Department (ED) and MUSC Children’s After Hours Care (AHC) locations throughout the greater Charleston area. In the ED, APPs are encouraged to evaluate patients with a broad range of clinical presentations and acuity levels, and at times when determined necessary, with a primary focus on lower-acuity patients in the “fast track” area. The APP will also provide care at AHC, the Division’s pediatric urgent care service, which operates 365 days a year.
