Job Description Summary The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology clinic is a very busy Pediatric Clinic that treats a variety of hematological and oncology patients. We are unique in that we see regular clinic visits as well as perform infusions. Our clinic team consists of RNs, CMA, and administrative assistant who work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality and safety of care for our patients. Each day’s workflow varies depending on the clinic, but includes working as a team that includes: patient triage, in-clinic procedures, administering chemotherapy, blood products, IV antibiotics, patient/parent education, medication administration including vaccines, CVC line care, obtaining EKG, and care coordination. Team members work alongside providers (including physicians, PAs and NPs) during patient clinic visits to provide the needed care our patients deserve.
