Description UNC Medical Center is hiring New Grad nurses for Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a 20 bed unit that is part of a Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center. Our team provides care for complex pediatric medical and surgical patients with a collaborative, interdisciplinary team approach. Our patients include a wide range of specialties, including but not limited to trauma, general surgery, neurosurgery, ENT surgery, oncology, solid organ transplants, burns, and various medical specialties. Our caring environment includes a focus on family-centered care. Schedule: 36hrs/wk (12 hour shifts) with night, day, and weekend rotation. A resume outlining clinical rotations in nursing school and a cover letter attached to the application are strongly encouraged.
