Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) nurse to join our team. This role provides specialized critical care to infants, children, and adolescents with life-threatening conditions. FT Schedule is 3x12hr shifts rotating 7a-7p, 7p-7a Our unit has two specialties: Pediatric Medical-Surgical and Pediatric ICU. We have 7 med-surgical beds, 7 stepdown beds and 4 critical care beds. We care for patients from birth to 18 years old with a patient- and family-centered philosophy, viewing patients and their families as partners in their care. We provide a wide variety of surgical services including orthopedic, ENT, GI, general surgery, hematology/oncology, neurosurgery, and trauma. We also care for patients with a wide variety of acute and chronic medical diagnoses, including dehydration, failure to thrive, seizures, cystic fibrosis, asthma, diabetes, oncology, respiratory insufficiency, and cardiac disease....
