Unit Description: The 4th Floor at Pelham Medical Center is a 24-bed Acute Care Orthopedic/Spine/Surgical Unit. The types of cases that can be seen on this unit are Post-Surgical Ortho/Spine/Neuro, Major Respiratory Infection/Inflammation, Pneumonia and Heart Failure. The typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:5. Schedule The PRN Tier 2 Nurse must work: Eight (8) 12-hour shifts in a 6-week period. Three (3) of the 8 shifts must be a weekend.
