Primary Function/General Purpose of Position The Bariatric and Orthopedic Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall administration and operations of the Bariatric and Orthopedic Program. The Bariatric and Orthopedic Program Coordinator in collaboration with the unit leaders is responsible for integration, facilitation and coordination of services for this patient population. Responsible for development and implementation of initiatives to positively impact quality patient care as evidenced by improved patient outcomes measured by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Health Grades, and The Joint Commission. Scope of patients includes all Bariatric Surgical Patients, Total Joint Replacement (TJR) elective, revisions & fractures including knee, hip, shoulder, elbow and ankle, spine, foot/ankle and sports orthopedic patients.
