Job Description Summary The Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse I reports to the Wound Care Manager. Under limited supervision, the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurse I provides an in-depth plan of care for patients in a specialty area of wounds, ostomies and continence for all ages(neonate to adult) throughout the organization for inpatients and outpatients. This role coordinates nursing management and collaborates with other health care providers to implement programmatic changes. This position updates clinical practice based on current research and changes in the age and level of development of patients, with consideration of the needs of patients’ families.
