Job Summary: The EP RN or Electrophysiology Technologist functions as a scrub tech, circulator and/or monitors patients for electrophysiology procedures under the direction of a cardiologist. Analyzes and interprets collected procedural data, provides effective patient care at all acuity levels. Assists in precepting new employees and students to department’s organization and function. Maintains inventory and charges appropriately for procedures, performs all procedures per protocol, participates in quality assurance and performance improvement programs as requested.
