This per diem OR nursing role offers the opportunity to care for pediatric surgical patients in a Level I Trauma, academic medical center setting. The Children’s Operating Room at UNC Medical Center in Chapel Hill consists of six operating suites , averaging 20–25 surgical cases per day . OR nurses may be cross trained to support multiple pediatric specialty services.
