Job Description Summary 7 West Surgical Oncology is a high-acuity, 24-bed adult inpatient unit specializing in gynecologic and head & neck oncology, as well as benign GYN and ENT patients. We also care for a mix of medical–surgical patients, including respiratory, endocrine, GI, trauma, and behavioral health needs. Our team manages chemotherapy, radiation, TPN, tube feedings, and cares for complex head & neck surgical patients with trachs, laryngectomies, and advanced wound needs. We also support patients throughout the palliative and hospice journey. Staff on 7 West develop strong skills with heparin and insulin drips, PCA/epidural pain management, and various surgical drains.
