Job Description Summary 7 West Surgical Oncology is a high-acuity, 24-bed adult inpatient unit specializing in gynecologic and head & neck oncology, as well as benign GYN and ENT patients. We also care for a mix of medical–surgical patients, including respiratory, endocrine, GI, trauma, and behavioral health needs. Our team manages chemotherapy, radiation, TPN, tube feedings, and cares for complex head & neck surgical patients with trachs, laryngectomies, and advanced wound needs. We also support patients throughout the palliative and hospice journey. Staff on 7 West develop strong skills with heparin and insulin drips, PCA/epidural pain management, and various surgical drains. We are unique in that we see regular clinic visits as well as perform infusions. Our clinic team consists of RNs, CMA, and administrative assistant who work alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality and safety of care for our patients.
