Job Description Summary The Division of Surgical Oncology is looking for a dynamic and patient-centered experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy thriving and expanding surgical oncology practice. With a main focus on breast care, the successful applicant will be a board-certified APP who will also be able to provide care to patients with soft tissue malignancies such as sarcoma and non-melanoma and melanoma skin cancer. The APP's responsibilities include working in collaboration with one primary surgeon in a group of 5 breast surgeons and 3 APPs to evaluate and manage new surgical patients, coordinating complex perioperative and postoperative surgical care, and developing an independent survivorship clinic for patient cancer surveillance. Other clinical responsibilities include collaboration with the multi-disciplinary oncologic team to deliver top quality patient centered care and to participate in weekly tumor boards.
