We also care for a mix of medical–surgical patients, including respiratory, endocrine, GI, trauma, and behavioral health needs. Our team manages chemotherapy, radiation, TPN, tube feedings, and cares for complex head & neck surgical patients with trachs, laryngectomies, and advanced wound needs. We also support patients throughout the palliative and hospice journey. Job Description Summary 7 West MedSurg & Surgical Oncology is a high acuity 24 bed adult inpatient unit specializing in gynecology oncology, head/neck oncology and head/neck benign patients. 7 West also provides care for a variety of other medical/surgical patient populations including but not limited to management of behavioral, respiratory, endocrine, GI, and trauma patients. The unit manages patients receiving inpatient chemotherapy, radiation, leech therapy, total parenteral nutrition and enteral nutrition. This unit cares for complex microvascular head and neck flap patients which includes complex wound management, tracheostomy and laryngectomy patient care.
