Meet or exceed standards of performance as established for employment at DHK with a strong focus on exceptional customer service. Efficiently gathers information from patients and/or caregivers in person or on the phone and provides telephone nursing care. Resources available for telephone care include departmental guidelines, DHK standard telephone triage books, and provider-specific information. The LPN recognizes their limits of knowledge and experience and plans for management of situations beyond their expertise, using provider and RN available resources in the department.
