Job Description Description RN Needed for Adult Rapid Response Team/ICU Transport - Days and Evening Shifts This is a flexible position for the Nurse Driven Rapid Response Team and the ICU Transport Team which is part of the UNCMC Adult Specialty Care Team. The nurse in this role utilizes the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) to coordinate, delegate and provide safe therapeutic nursing care to adult patients throughout the Medical Center. As a first responder, the rapid response nurse will assess and evaluate patients in collaboration with the bedside nurse, the first call LIP and a respiratory therapist. He/she also collaborates with other disciplines an providers to coordinate continuity of patient care.
