Job Description Summary The Endoscopy Procedure Registered Nurse II on the Endoscopy Unit reports to the Nurse Manager. The Procedure RN assist with general endoscopy procedures, such as colonoscopy and EGD. Responsibilities include being on call rotation for emergent and urgent therapeutic endoscopy procedures, which includes holidays, night and some weekends. Our p rogram is a very busy unit where patients are efficiently prepared for their procedures. On a typical day we care for 50-60 patients. Clinical duties will include pre-procedure assessment with placement of IV, assisting in the procedure rooms for colonoscopies and EGD's and post procedure care until discharge. ACLS needed but can obtain during orientation. IV skills are a plus but will train. This position is Monday-Friday, 10 hour days.
