Job Description Description Summary: The Nursing Assistant I performs basic nursing skills, personal care activities, and other tasks as delegated by and under the supervision of the RN/LPN as defined by the NC Board of Nursing. Responsibilities: 1. Provides quality patient care which may include but is not limited to the following: a. Measures vital signs including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, etc. b. Provides personal care such as bathing, mouth care, skin care, hair care, nail care, bed making, and dressing/undressing c. Assists with nutritional needs of patients by performing tasks such as preparing patients for meal time and feeding patients when needed d.
