The APP will work across the Shawn Jenkins Children’s Hospital Emergency Department (ED) and MUSC Children’s After Hours Care (AHC) locations throughout the greater Charleston area. In the ED, APPs are encouraged to evaluate patients with a broad range of clinical presentations and acuity levels, and at times when determined necessary, with a primary focus on lower-acuity patients in the “fast track” area.
