The University of Virginia Medical Center, a nationally recognized Level 1 Trauma Center, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Manager to lead and support an expanding team of APPs in the Emergency Department. This leadership role combines clinical practice (80%) with administrative responsibilities (20%), with the expectation that administrative effort will grow as the APP team continues to expand. The APP Manager will oversee APPs staffing a 24/7 ED observation unit as well as multiple clinical areas within the main Emergency Department. The role includes administrative management, recruiting, onboarding, performance coaching, and operational optimization to ensure the APP team delivers high-quality, patient-centered care and contributes to departmental goals.
