48665131 Overview Our Behavioral Health Emergency Department unit consists of a 6 beds supporting high risk mental health patients during a critical psychiatric event. Our care team’s priority is to provide therapeutic nursing care in a safe and controlled environment to stabilize their illness while developing a healthy care plan. As the primary nurse, you will work with our crisis team, the psychiatric and emergency physician/nursing team, care managers and security staff. An effective candidate will have a passion for critical care psychiatric nursing, empathy, and demonstrate a compassionate approach, high level of emotional intelligence and be diligent in their work environment to provide one on one support for patient needs. This is a FT (3x12hr shifts) rotating position.
