Job Description Description This Emergency Department has been accredited by the American College of Emergency Medicine as a Level 2 Geriatric Emergency Department and was the first in North Carolina to receive this designation. Geriatric Emergency Departments embrace a variety of best practices that address common geriatric issues. Prefer one year of nursing experience in emergency department or critical care/intermediate care. We will provide training to meet individual needs. The staff orientation to the Emergency Department includes both a 1:1 preceptor program and appropriate classes.
