The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members. The Emergency Department is a 33-bed unit with 3 Trauma Bays. We are a Level 2 Trauma Center, Accredited Chest Pain and Stroke Center. Our typical nurse to patient ratio is 4:1. We are a busy Emergency Department that treats high acuity patients positioned between two Level 1 Trauma Centers (located in Utah and Denver).
