Our transport services include Critical Care Transport (CCT) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) transportation to and from UNC REX Hospital, UNC Hospitals, affiliates and other regional medical facilities 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our CCT teams are trained and equipped to transport post-cardiac arrest, STEMI, CVA, respiratory failure, sepsis, trauma, high-risk obstetrical and other critical patients. We have 2 major resuscitation rooms, triage rooms for initial assessment, department radiology suite and a decontamination room. Our ED team cares for patients in all life-threatening situations, less-critical injuries requiring minor treatment, acute and behavioral health diagnoses. Summary: Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
