Job Description Summary Performs the primary functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of all patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) during his or her shift. Is responsible for meeting the established standards of Intensive Nursing Practice, for managing all assigned personnel, supplies, and equipment in the unit, and for promoting teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. Under general supervision, performs professional nursing, technical and administrative duties as they relate to the cardiac catheterization lab as assigned. Perform scrub and hemodynamic monitoring duties with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, and peripheral vascular procedures using clinical knowledge, technical skills, and professional judgment in accordance with professional and departmental standards and protocols.
